Very friendly, professional staff since check in. First time we took our puppy with us for a stay over, the staff were very understanding, they even offered to check on him while we went for a concert. Continental breakfast was included in the great price - good choice, pastries, cheese etc and very tasty granola & yoghurt, good start of the day. They welcomed us again with a smile & quick chat whist they were constantly cleaning & filling up the buffet. Some 4* higher ranked hotels would be envy of their staff. We also paid for parking: £8 for 24 hours which is a bargain considering the city central location. Overall if we return to Birmingham we will definitely book here again. We asked their name after check out as we have a business in hospitality and we know how nice to get a recognition: well done Lisa, Dot, Shane, Emma & Rachel : they deserve a payrise. (Butter)

This is our second time staying with ibis budget after 8 years. Overnight parking is reasonably priced, though it can be full — in that case, you may need to park about two minutes away. The hotel is roughly a mile from the city centre. The front desk was staffed at all times (at least past midnight!). We already expected limited amenities in the room, as it’s a budget hotel — for example, there’s no kettle — so there were no surprises or disappointments. However, you can still borrow a hairdryer from the front desk. Overall, it was a great stay.

We stayed for 2 night just gone 24th & 25th, and had a great stay, The staff were all very friendly and approachable, the location of the hotel for the price is amazing! You won't find cheaper for the location. We were pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness of the rooms and other guest areas, some other reviews we seen mentioned "sick smells" i can honestly say didn't smell anything, and rooms smelt and looked fresh. Our overall stay was amazing and as we will be travelling to and from Birmingham for buisness will be using this hotel a lot!

Location: 3 minute walk to the o2 Academy. Small Morrisons directly opposite the hotel and a nice little pub just a little further along the same road which was easily accessible via an underpass. Also, only a 13-14 minute walk to Broad Street. Parking: Hotel offers 24 hour parking for £8 (first come first serve basis) Staff: Very welcoming and friendly. Food/drinks: Alcohol and food offered 24/7 including pizza.

Lovely to be met by cheerful & welcoming reception staff. A different team was on the next day & they too were very cheerful & pleasant. Breakfast buffet was great. A good variety of food, well presented & good amounts. Only thing missing for me was plant based milk, but to be fair I didn't ask if there was any available. The kitchen staff did a good job of clearing dirty plates & keeping the area clean.
